Egyptian Flight School Orders 10 Wichita-Built Cessna Skyhawks

Textron Aviation expanded its global training business in July, announcing at the Farnborough International Airshow an order of 10 new Cessna Skyhawk 172 aircraft from the Egyptian Aviation Academy.
The aircraft, built in Wichita, are scheduled for delivery through 2027 and will support pilot training in Egypt as demand for aviation professionals grows worldwide. The order underscores how aircraft made in Kansas continue to reach far-flung markets, from Europe and the Middle East to Asia and Latin America.
